All prospective engagements are subject to a conflicts review and independence assessment prior to acceptance. Engagements may be declined or limited where actual or potential conflicts, independence concerns, or professional constraints cannot be appropriately addressed.

Acceptance of an engagement is conditioned upon:

• Completion of internal conflict checks
• Confirmation of analytical independence and objectivity
• Scope definition appropriate for litigation, dispute, or regulatory matters
• Execution of a written engagement agreement
   

Submission of an inquiry, request for proposal, or website communication does not create an engagement, expert relationship, advisory relationship, or obligation to accept an engagement.

May & Company reserves the right to decline or terminate engagements at its discretion in order to preserve independence, objectivity, and professional standards.
